Ein neues Update für Homefront scheint weitere Kreise zu ziehen.

Homefront Community,
As many of you noticed, over the last 36 hours we rolled out global server-side changes to make slight tuning adjustments to the Playlists and Gameplay Balance. Many of these modifications came straight from the Community, thank you for your feedback and continued support of Homefront.
The details on the changes are as follows:
Playlist Changes
· Changed map randomization
· Min player adjustment to 4 in 16 max, 4 in 24 max, and 8 in 32 max Playlists
· 360 – Added Culdesac and Suburb to GC playlist
· PS3 – Added Culdesac to GC playlistGameplay Balance Changes
· Resupply ability cost increased to 300
· Blastwave and Boomer Abilities received a slight reduction to their effectiveness
· The M200 has received some buffs to its fire-rate, ammo capacity, sway and look speed
· The M110 had its fire rate, recoil and ammo capacity slightly adjusted
· The Airburst grenade launcher now carries a max of 2 grenades and does slightly less damageRegards,

Neuer PC Patch
Vor kurzen wurde ein neuer PC Patch für Homefront veröffentlicht. Der knapp 230 MB große Patch aktualisiert die Spielversion auf 1.0.384501 und beinhaltet Optimierungen am Serverbrowser und der Freundesliste.
Patchlog
- Improved quickmatch logic, players will now join populated servers.
- Improved ping queries on servers, player count, gametag info and general server info.
- Limited number of concurrent ping and rules queries, this prevents issues associated with query spam (disconnects on certain ISP’s and network hardware).
- The friends list will now display all friends that are in dedicated server games.
- The player list will populate when using the server info option.
Weiterhin kündigen die Macher von Homefront weitere Patche an, welche mit folgenden Inhalten aufwarten sollen.
- hardcore mode
- more player admin options (votekick/voteban/voterestart/votenextmap)
- additional anti-cheat functionality
Der Patch Installiert sich Automatisch wenn der Steam Client Onnline ist, insofern man Automatische Spielaktualisierung im Spiel Aktiviert hat.

Voting Feature
Edmar von den KAOS Studios hat ein Thread gestartet, welches über weitere Spiel Optionen für den Server Admin und Gamer (Vote Option) entscheiden soll. Wieder ist die Community gefragt, um Homefront an die Bedürfnisse der Gamer zu Optimieren. Jeder kann natürlich seine Interessen anbringen.

We are considering a “Vote: kick, ban, restart match, next map” feature as an option on dedicated servers – let me know if there are any specific requests and we will try to include it. For example, we will leave as many options as possible for the server admin:
- countdown time
- % of votes needed
